Not only you’ll soak up in scenic mountain views along the journey, but also you’ll rejoice in the aerial views of the stunning Himalayan giants in the comfort of a helicopter ride.
Further, this trek is hosted by Sherpas, the original inhabitants of the Everest region, offering delicious meals and a cozy night stay at teahouses.
Starting from Lukla, the entire trail is epic, with raging Dudh Koshi River on the side. Namche town and Dingboche are two ideal spots for acclimatization, where we spend each day hiking to nearby Hotel Everest View and Nangkartshang Peak, respectively.
From there, you’ll have the best views of surrounding peaks and beautiful valleys. The sights of suspension bridges, Sherpa villages decorated with prayer flags, mani stones, mani walls, herds of yaks, and mules are truly spellbinding along the way.
The final stretch past the village of Lobuche and Gorakh Shep leads to Everest Base Camp, where you’ll behold the sights of Khumbu Glacier and Khumbu Icefall. From Gorakh Shep, you’ll hike to Kala Patthar, the perfect vantage point for watching sunrise views over the Himalayan peaks.
From there, you can see the closest panoramic views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori, and other peaks. Next, we fly back to Kathmandu on a luxurious heli flight overlooking the snow-capped peaks and mountain villages.
