Overview
Manaslu Circuit Trek 17 days offers travelers an amazing experience of trekking in the Himalayan foothills. Unlike other popular trekking regions of Nepal, Manaslu Circuit trekking gives you the unspoiled natural beauty and cultural wonders of the mountain region in its original form, as this place is often less visited due to its remote location. This trail was known among visitors for its challenging terrain, breathtaking mountain views, and the cultural uniqueness of this region.
The worlds’ 8th highest peak Mt. Manaslu (8,156 m) and Larkya La Pass (5,160 m), are the major attractions of this region. From the top of Larkya La Pass, you can revel in the breathtaking views of Larkya La peaks, Himlung, Samdo, and Cheo Himal. Plus, there are more natural wonders to witness, from turquoise glacial lakes to pristine Manaslu Conservation Area. Along the journey, you can enjoy the warm hospitality of ethnically Tibetan inhabitants and Gurungs as you hike through the mountain villages and stay in the teahouses.
The trek commences from Soti Khola village, a beautiful mid-hill village in the Gorkha district of Nepal. Following the northern high route nestled in the Himalayas, you’ll pass by the quaint mountain villages to reach Namrung, where you can meet locals that resemble Tibetan ethnicity and lifestyle.
En route, you’ll share the trails with yak caravans and pass by lush forests; you’ll cross Larkya La Pass, the highest point in the entire trek. Next, the trail descends through mid-hills and finally concludes at Chamje. From there, you’ll drive back to Kathmandu in our private vehicle, enjoying the splendid views on the way.
Manaslu Circuit Trek requires a special trekking permit from Nepal’s government as trekking in this region is available to limited visitors. Prepare yourself to enjoy this classical trek with us, and we’ll help you in every step of your journey.
